Become a mentor and help students build real skills
MySkills students practise digital marketing and career-readiness skills with AI, then work with a real mentor who knows the field. If you've done the work, a little of your time changes how a student starts their career.
What mentoring on MySkills looks like
Students arrive prepared
A student asks you after taking an aptitude assessment, so you see their strengths, gaps and what they want help with before you say yes.
Mentor your way
You accept or decline each request. You arrange sessions with the student by call, video or chat, and you can pause new requests whenever you're busy.
Your word carries weight
Award a skill badge when a student has earned it in practice, and record projects you've seen them complete. Both appear on their profile with your name.
A profile and a portal of your own
A MySkills mentor profile with your photo, expertise and LinkedIn link, and a private portal to manage requests, students and sessions.
How it works
Create your account
Sign up as a mentor and tell us a little about your experience. It takes a few minutes.
Confirm your email
Enter the 6-digit code we send to the address you signed up with.
The team verifies you
A real person checks every mentor before they are one, and emails you the outcome.
Set up your profile
Sign in to the Community portal and finish your profile. Students can find you once it is complete.
Meet your students
Accept requests, hold sessions your way and log each one.

Questions
How do I become a mentor?
Create a mentor account, confirm your email with the code we send, and the MySkills team verifies you. There is no separate application form: nobody is listed as a mentor until their email is confirmed and the team has verified them.
Who are the students?
Students and early-career learners across India working through the Digital Marketing Programme (eight skill tracks) and the Global Leadership Programme (five modules). They practise with AI first, then ask a mentor to work with them.
How much time will mentoring take?
That's up to you. You accept or decline each request, agree session times with the student, and can pause new requests at any time. Students you're already working with aren't affected when you pause.
What happens in a session?
Whatever helps the student most — reviewing their practice work, answering questions or coaching them toward their goals. You arrange the sessions yourselves and log each one in the Community portal.
What do students see about me?
Your name, photo, title, bio, areas of expertise and LinkedIn link. Your phone number and email stay private and are used only by the MySkills team to reach you.
What happens after I sign up?
The team verifies every mentor by hand and emails you. Once verified, your Community portal opens and you finish your profile there. Students see you when it is complete.
